Ukraine’s defense minister voices "lessons learned regarding Avdiivka"
Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that the decision to withdraw troops from Avdiivka was the right one and that Ukrainian soldiers now need weapons and equipment

According to Umerov, Ukraine has learned its lessons from Avdiivka:

Ukraine needs modern air defense systems to prevent Russia from dropping multiple guided aerial bombs.

Ukraine needs long-range weapons to destroy Russian warehouses.

Ukraine needs artillery shells.
Umerov also emphasized that the decision to save personnel was the right one and added: "We will take back Avdiivka."

To avoid encirclement and save lives, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command decided to withdraw troops from Avdiivka and move to defense on more favorable positions.
