Ukraine’s border guards report where Russia deploys reconnaissance groups most often
The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, stated that Russia is making the most active attempts to deploy sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the Sumy region
He said this at a briefing at the Ukraine-Union Media Center.
According to Demchenko, the Sumy region remains the area where Russia deploys the largest number of subversive reconnaissance groups.
"The Sumy region remains the most active area where the enemy continues to use its subversive reconnaissance groups. Earlier there was activity in the Kharkiv region, but it has decreased recently. No activity of enemy subversive reconnaissance groups has been recorded in the Chernihiv region either," he said.
The spokesman noted that at the same time, the Sumy region remains Russia’s priority in terms of using subversive reconnaissance groups.
"But the Sumy region is a priority for them. In fact, several enemy subversive reconnaissance groups are exposed during the week," added Demchenko.
