For the first time, Ukraine's Armed Forces launched British Storm Shadow cruise missiles at military targets in Russia

Bloomberg reports this with reference to a Western official familiar with the situation.
According to the source, Ukraine's use of Storm Shadow was approved because of the deployment of the North Korean military in Russia. The source added that the Kremlin's move was interpreted in London as an escalation.
For reference. SCALP / Storm Shadow is an air-to-ground cruise missile. It is designed to destroy important stationary targets that are well protected by air defense systems. SCALP can be used in difficult weather conditions and at any time of the day. The missiles are not afraid of enemy electronic warfare.
