Trump: When Putin offered to help with Iran, I told him to focus on Russia
U.S. President Donald Trump believes that no one has handled conflicts like the one between Israel and Iran better than America
The American leader said this during a press conference at the NATO summit.
“He (Putin – ed.) called, and I said: ‘You have to help me with Russia.’ After all, he’s involving Pakistan, India, Kosovo, Serbia. And on Friday, when Congo came up, Rwanda, there’s a fierce war there, which, as we know, has spread across Africa. You know, I think no one has handled such conflicts better than America,” he said.
Donald Trump also noted that when the Russian ruler Vladimir Putin offered to help him with Iran, the American president told him to focus on Russia. Trump believes that Putin will do just that.
“I was actually surprised. Because, well, he called, but he called, and he said he’s close to Iran, he wants to help us, and I said: ‘No, no, we’ll handle it ourselves.’ I said: ‘You’d better mediate Russia first.’ I think that’s exactly what he’ll be doing,” he believes.
On the shortest night of the year, June 22, the United States of America attacked Iran’s nuclear facilities. According to media reports, the strikes were carried out by American B-2 bombers, which had been relocated the day before from a base in the U.S. to a Pacific island. These aircraft are the only carriers of the GBU-57 MOP superbomb. This weapon was used for the first time in history in order to stop Iran’s nuclear program.
On June 22, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, at a joint briefing with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Kane, revealed details of the missile and bomb strikes on Iran.
