Danylo Borysenko, head of intelligence of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division of Ukraine’s Rubizh Brigade, shared the information on Espreso TV.

"The Rubizh Brigade is defending the country from the occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction. The situation continues to follow recent trends: the enemy continues to attack our positions. Over the past day, there have been more than forty combat clashes in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy's tactics remain unchanged — small infantry groups infiltrating our battle lines, the use of large amounts of artillery, FPV drones, and loitering munitions," Borysenko said.

He added that the main challenge in the Pokrovsk direction is Russian troops’ continued use of “total infiltration” tactics.

"Small enemy infantry groups are trying to penetrate our battle lines, enter forest strips, accumulate there, and continue to damage our logistics routes and rear units' positions. During this advance, about 10% of these small groups have a chance to reach their final destination and infiltrate. We destroy 80-90 out of a hundred occupiers, but the rest get through, and we have to spend significant resources to detect and destroy them in our rear. This is important so that they do not cause significant damage to our logistics operations," Borysenko said.

  • Over the past day, Ukrainian forces recorded 190 combat clashes along the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian units attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 64 times.
