Russia’s losses exceed 35,000 soldiers in eastern Ukraine in November – Khortytsia troop grouping
Over the past month, the occupying Russian army has lost over 35,000 troops in eastern Ukraine. Russia keeps conducting assaults in small groups, often without deploying large numbers of armored vehicles
Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for Ukraine’s Khortytsia troop grouping, shared the information during the United News telethon.
"November was a colossal month in terms of losses, and in particular, Russia suffered more than 35,000 casualties in our operational area over the course of the month," he said.
According to Voloshyn, Russian forces are still conducting assaults in small groups, often without deploying a significant number of armored vehicles.
The spokesman also noted that, last week, the Russian forces carried out 1,156 attacks within their area of responsibility.
“Currently, the situation in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational and strategic troop grouping remains under control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, although it is tense. Combat actions are ongoing in almost all frontline areas. Of course, the situation is changing dynamically. I should note that last week the enemy conducted 1,156 attacks in our area of responsibility. This is slightly more than the previous week, when there were 921 enemy attacks,” he said.
- On November 29, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that in eastern Ukraine, the Russian army was concentrating its main efforts on the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremivka directions. Fighting continued along the entire front line, with the situation evolving dynamically.
