Russians amassing their forces in Toretsk, trying to launch assaults from there

This was reported during a national telethon by Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Zaporozhets, spokesperson for the Luhansk operational and tactical troop grouping.

According to him, there is significant Russian troop buildup in central Toretsk.

"Then the enemy attempts assault operations toward the Toretsk-Centralna mine, as well as toward the city center in the area of the Avangard stadium," Zaporozhets explained.

He emphasized that the enemy is constantly on the move, and the primary task of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to eliminate Russian forces during these maneuvers.

"During their movements, the enemy suffers losses because all assault actions from the city center are conducted under drone surveillance. Some movements are accompanied and monitored by UAVs. The enemy does not always realize where they are, so these assaults occur directly under drone control," Zaporozhets said.

He also added that since early March, the Russian army has carried out over 200 airstrikes in the operational zone of the "Luhansk" group.
