Russian forces torching own military vehicles to dodge frontline duty in Kherson region

The Atesh movement reported the information on Telegram.

“Agents of the Atesh movement from the 24th Motorized Rifle Regiment in the Kherson direction are destroying their own transport to sabotage deployments to positions. In this way, they are creating conditions for a possible advance by the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the report said.

According to the partisan movement, a critical situation has arisen there: the number of deserters and those who leave the unit without permission is growing due to the harsh orders of the command, as a result of which the Russians have suffered losses. 

“The command cannot maintain order in the regiment, and the situation is only worsening. We call on servicemen not to follow criminal orders,” added Atesh.

• Earlier, the Atesh partisan movement reported that the Russian command was forcing its troops to advance toward Pavlivka in the Zaporizhzhia direction despite heavy losses.
