Russian troops are not enough to storm Kharkiv, but they are capable of conducting raids
Military observer Denys Popovych notes the Russians have amassed 30-35 thousand troops in the Kharkiv region
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“Without significant personnel reinforcement, it will be difficult to resist the Russian Federation, which is going all-in, especially when the ammunition has not yet reached everywhere. The enemy realizes that until the ammunition arrives, it needs to have territorial gains, especially in the east. Today, there are several areas where Russia is trying to make significant advances - west of Avdiivka towards Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, Lyman and Kupyansk directions,” explained Popovych.
According to a military observer, there is an accumulation of Russian troops in the direction of the Kharkiv region.
“But it is insignificant, about 30-35 thousand. There is still a deployment in the Kursk region, about 3500-3700 Russian military. Obviously, this deployment should be completed in the coming days, and we will watch their actions. In general, this is not enough to storm Kharkiv, but they are capable of diverting actions, raiding actions, seizing some small territories in the Kharkiv region. These are diversionary actions, but in a situation where our reserves are not very good, this may also be important,” Popovych said.
