Russian soldiers deliberately damage weapons to sabotage operations near Pokrovsk – guerrillas

Guerrillas within the Russian Armed Forces report that over the past month and a half, at least 12 pieces of equipment have been sabotaged. Five infantry fighting vehicles and two T-72 tanks were damaged before reaching their combat positions, while four trucks and one armored personnel carrier became inoperable due to “sudden” engine and transmission failures.

Sabotage is especially prevalent among soldiers of the 37th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 5th Separate Tank Brigade, who have repeatedly been documented refusing orders and deliberately disabling their equipment. In response, the command of the Russian Armed Forces has launched an investigation into these incidents.

"Our agents, whose numbers continue to grow, also played a role in these acts of sabotage," the Atesh movement stated. "They successfully disable equipment using the detailed instructions we provide. We have even prepared video tutorials demonstrating how to sabotage equipment quickly and discreetly."
