Russian soldiers anticipate freeze in hostilities, refuse assault in Kherson region — Atesh guerrilla movement
The Russian military is anticipating a pause in hostilities. They are reportedly engaging in widespread sabotage of orders for assaults in Ukraine’s Kherson region
The Atesh guerrilla movement reported the information.
"Soldiers of the [Russian] 24th and 26th motorized rifle regiments are heavily sabotaging assault orders. The reason is simple—too many of their comrades have not returned from similar operations and are still in the waters of the Dnipro," the post states.
The guerrilla movement added that discussions among the personnel about a potential freeze in hostilities are further eroding the morale of Russian soldiers.
The guerrillas report that the boats used to transport assault troops are in a "deplorable state," with many of them repeatedly breaking down due to sabotage. The soldiers, aware of the equipment's unreliability, are attempting to avoid being sent to the islands.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, reported that the Syzran oil refinery in Russia's Samara region was attacked on the night of March 4.
