Russian military equipment with new tactical markings spotted in Mariupol
The head of the Center for Occupation Studies, Petro Andriushchenko, reported new tactical markings on Russian equipment moving through Mariupol toward Russia
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"We have detected new tactical markings — a white circle within a square — on military equipment moving from the Zaporizhzhia direction through Mariupol to the Rostov region," said Andriushchenko.
He noted that the vehicles and equipment appear to be new and have not been involved in combat operations.
"I must emphasize again that, compared to reverse movement, referring to the redeployment of forces from the Zaporizhzhia direction to Russia would be an exaggeration, but the trend has been consistent throughout the week. Additionally, we are receiving information that Taganrog has started functioning as a logistical rail hub for loading/unloading Russian military equipment," added the head of the Center for Occupation Studies.
- Earlier, Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, said that an increase in active offensive actions by Russian forces in southern Ukraine was expected.
