Russian losses in August: 37,000 soldiers, over 6,000 pieces of equipment
Oleksandr Pavliuk, Commander of Ukraine's Ground Forces, has reported that in August 2024, Russia lost 36,810 servicemen and 6,383 pieces of military equipment in the ongoing war with Ukraine

He shared this information on his Telegram channel on September 1.
According to Pavliuk, Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a substantial amount of Russian weaponry and equipment during the same period:
- 193 tanks
- 557 armored fighting vehicles
- 1,517 artillery systems
- 44 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 33 air defense systems
- 2,065 motor vehicles
- 278 pieces of special equipment
Additionally, Pavliuk noted that Ukrainian defenders downed 5 Russian aircraft, 2 helicopters, and intercepted 1,539 drones and 150 missiles.
- Over the past day, Russian forces lost dozens of pieces of equipment and over 1,300 servicemen at the frontline.
