Russian army is trying to advance into Toretsk in small groups

“The enemy is trying to infiltrate small infantry groups into Toretsk. They are concentrating in basements and various hiding places to conduct assault operations on the positions of Ukrainian units holding the town's defense,” said Bobovnikova.

According to the spokeswoman, despite the heroic defense of the town, the enemy is constantly trying to attack and launch assault operations.

“There are many destroyed houses and streets in Toretsk where the occupying Russian forces can hide and continue to advance through the town. This makes it very difficult to build a defense, although our military is managing to do so. The defense forces have been holding back the enemy in this town for quite some time. Despite this, the enemy is constantly attacking and trying to actively storm our positions. The situation in Toretsk is very difficult,” she added.
