Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, reported the information.
He noted that the Russian invaders are already preparing the rolling stock. In particular, from the Aslanovo station in the Mariupol district, a freight train was hauled by a diesel locomotive to the port of temporarily occupied Mariupol.
“After that, using a ChME3-003 diesel locomotive, individual cars were pulled to Mariupol-Main and Mariupol-Sorting stations. The cars are being prepared for freight service with Melitopol (and further to Crimea), which they plan to launch this or next week,” wrote Petro Andriushchenko.
- On February 24, Petro Andriushchenko spoke about the circular railway connection, which could replace the Crimean Bridge.
