Russia producing 100–150 missiles monthly, poised for deployment — expert
Russia still has the capacity to produce about 100-150 missiles of various types per month – both cruise and ballistic. Sooner or later, it may use them
Aviation expert and member of the public council at the State Aviation Service, Bohdan Dolintse, shared the information on Espreso TV.
“Russia continues to have the capacity to produce about 100–150 missiles of various types each month, both cruise and ballistic. If these missiles are not used immediately, they are sent to storage facilities. This means that sooner or later, Russia will be able to deploy them. Therefore, the likelihood of their use only increases over time,” Dolintse emphasized.
According to the aviation expert, Ukrainian intelligence can obtain information about the logistics of these munitions since missile storage sites are usually known and identified. The same applies to airfields capable of launching missile-carrying aircraft. In other words, when intelligence detects the preparation of aircraft for coordinated attacks, their gathering at specific bases, and the presence of infrastructure for servicing and preparing missiles for launch, all this indicates an increased risk of using such weapons.
“It is clear that Russia, while producing missiles, does not intend to simply store them. Therefore, the likelihood of another strike generally rises a few weeks after the previous attack,” Dolintse added.
- Starting from the evening of May 22 and throughout the night and morning of May 23, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones. Air defense was active in the Kyiv region.
