Russia plans to "re-educate" 5,000 schoolkids in summer camps in occupied Luhansk region
More than 70 summer camps for children have been organized in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. They will operate throughout the summer and plan to "re-educate" at least five thousand schoolchildren of all ages
The National Resistance Center of Ukraine reports on June 12.
"More than 70 summer camps for children have been organized in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region on an emergency basis," the Center noted.
It is stated that the Kremlin’s propaganda and brainwashing curators are planning to work on the young residents of the occupied territories. However, parents are concerned about the safety of these camps.
"Summer camps that have been hastily organized at educational institutions do not meet basic safety measures. Cluttered emergency exits, unsanitary conditions, and high fire hazards are just some of the problems. There is no organization of safe food during the summer heat at all," the statement said.
The National Resistance Center also highlighted the common occurrence of fires in the occupied part of the Luhansk region, with no adequate firefighting response.
Many rescuers have refused to cooperate with the occupation authorities.
