Anastasia Blyshchyk, a spokeswoman for the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade Magura, noted that the Russian forces are actively attacking with infantry, supported by artillery, aviation, and FPV drones

She spoke about this on Espreso TV.

"The situation is very difficult in the Pokrovsk sector. According to the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces, there are the most combat engagements there. Russia is actively attacking with infantry. We see isolated cases of Russia's use of equipment on the battlefield, because the soldiers of Ukraine's 47th Brigade worked very productively.

Our 47th Brigade has been very effective in neutralizing Russian equipment. In the second half of April and May, about 250 units of Russian armored vehicles were destroyed by the 47th Brigade.

Due to this, the Russian forces have shifted to using infantry assault operations more frequently. These assaults range from small groups to larger ones of 15-25 soldiers, coming in waves. The 'meat' assaults continue," stated Anastasia Blyshchyk.

According to her, Russian FPV drones have become more active, flying into Ukrainian rear.

"A Russian unit specializing in attack UAVs is operating in this area, launching drones from Ocheretyne or Koksokhim. Their high-altitude positions give them favorable conditions for this. Ukrainian attack UAV operators are also responding, primarily targeting Russian infantry and their rear positions at night. Russia conducts active assault operations daily, both during the day and at night. Last night was relatively calm due to the rain, so the drones did not fly. On other days, the assaults are continuous and around the clock. When one Russian group is destroyed by Ukrainian defenders, another follows - second, fifth, fifteenth. These groups are supported by artillery, aircraft, and FPV drones," summarized Anastasia Blyshchyk.

  • Serhii Tsehotskyi, officer with the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, says that the Russian army has increased the intensity of assault operations in the Pokrovsk direction several times.
