Russia deploys reserves to push through: serviceman on situation in Avdiivka sector
Vadym Mazevych, a unit commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, noted that in recent days the Russian army has started using much more armored vehicles in the Avdiivka sector
He told this on Espreso TV.
"Over the past few days, we have observed the enemy using armored vehicles in the Avdiivka sector, in platoons and even at the company level. This indicates that the enemy is deploying its reserves and using armored vehicles to break through. However, they are not succeeding at the moment, as we are holding the defense in the positions we prepared in advance," noted the commander of an Unmanned Aircraft System unit of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
According to him, it is very difficult to hold back the invading Russian troops despite the fact that Ukrainian defenders received a good supply of ammunition for artillery.
"We need more ammunition. Today, the ratio in some cases is such that for every 4-5 shots of enemy artillery, there is only one of ours. We would like to say that we are working effectively, but we need more ammunition," emphasized Vadym Mazevych.
