No army has experience comparable to Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukraine's military experience in modern warfare surpasses NATO's, making NATO membership crucial to prevent Russia from gaining Europe's most capable army

I talked to some of the mobilized people who were sent abroad for training

They are taught how to disassemble and assemble weapons, assault operations in a house, deployment of combat formations in various combat conditions. Everything is strictly according to the program.

When Ukrainian soldiers approach the instructors and say that such things, in our opinion, do not work, we have other experience, we can show them these options - the instructor replies, we are working according to the program, disassemble the M4A1.

From a political point of view, from the point of view of ITA (international technical assistance - ed.), compatibility, interaction, language learning, gaining a broader perspective and a sense of "What is it like in NATO" - this is an invaluable experience.

As for the conduct of modern warfare, our sergeants and officers should go to NATO countries and conduct courses not on disassembling an assault rifle or storming buildings or deploying military equipment, but on conducting a real war with the use of modern weapons, using drones on the battlefield in the conditions of electronic warfare and electronic warfare, and working with small infantry groups, logistics and communications in the absence of electricity, coordination of evacuation of the population, work on information counteraction, work on mobilization of the population and all other aspects of modern warfare that do not fit not only into the NATO sergeant program that prepares our guys, but also into the experience of NATO's military and political leadership.

“Any sergeant can show you how to disassemble a machine gun or how to storm a building. Every mechanic knows how to march in a column and deploy in combat order.”

But only a few of us can survive, keep the platoon together and accomplish tasks in modern warfare. This cannot be taught immediately.

Ukraine's experience has long surpassed that of both Western countries and the Russian Federation, because we fought with a Soviet army that had Western and Soviet weapons and were forced to modernize under the influence of modern warfare. We ourselves are not yet able to generalize and implement it, because we are working in conditions of constant change and adaptation.

“No other army in the world has such experience.”

It would be ideal if we joined NATO.

Because if Russia wins this war, it will get the most capable army in Europe, with the most experience in the use of all types of conventional weapons in the world.

This is unacceptable not only from the point of view of preserving the Ukrainian nation and state, but also from the point of view of preserving Europe.
