Drones spotted over Denmark: UAVs detected at military sites

The country’s Ministry of Defense reported on September 27, 2025.

Unmanned aerial vehicles were observed overnight above several military sites, including Skrydstrup Air Base and the Jutland Dragoon Regiment. For operational security reasons, the Defence Command did not disclose further details.

“The Danish Armed Forces may choose to take down drones over military installations, taking into account the specific threat and risk assessment,” the statement said.

The Defense Command declined to provide additional comments while the investigation continues.
