The Center for National Resistance reports.

It is noted that the security agencies of Belarus are preparing to carry out false flag operations in the border area with Ukraine.

"They are planning to resort to provocations that they themselves will successfully prevent in order to show their Chinese counterparts their capabilities," the Resistance emphasizes.

From July 8 to 19, the first exercises of the military of Belarus and China - the special operations forces of the Russian Armed Forces and the military of the People's Liberation Army of China - are taking place on its territory, which were called "anti-terrorist".

Before the arrival of Chinese units in Belarus and joint military exercises of the states, Deputy Chief of the Russian General Staff, Major General Vladimir Kuprianyuk, stated that there were threats of training, as well as armed provocations in Belarus “in the context of the increasing presence of special forces, mercenaries and various volunteer groups in the border areas.”

"This statement was intended to prepare the information field for the Belarusian side to conduct its own provocations, as it will be extremely beneficial for it in the context of Belarus' accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the first joint anti-terrorist exercises with the PLA to demonstrate the ability of its own security agencies to respond to threats," the Center for National Resistance explains.

The article adds that the Belarusian security forces plan to "successfully suppress armed provocations" within the state's borders with Ukraine in order to blame Kyiv for it.

  • On July 6, 2024, for the first time in history, a large transport plane from the People's Republic of China landed at the Belarusian military airfield Baranovichi.
  • On July 8, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported that joint military exercises between the state and China had started at the Brest training ground, located near the borders with Ukraine and Poland.
  • On July 10, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said that the joint military exercises between his country and Belarus are being conducted in accordance with the annual cooperation plan and are not directed against other states.
