Russian forces deploy non-combat personnel in Kharkiv region - Ukrainian commander
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles strike UAV battalion of the 92nd Assault Brigade, reports active fighting continues in the Kharkiv region
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
“If we talk about the section specifically from Strilecha to Lyptsi, including the settlement of Hlyboke, active combat operations are underway. It's not accurate to say that Russian troops have fully captured the settlement, as some positions are still changing hands. The enemy is exerting considerable pressure and additionally showing a high dynamic in combat actions. What does this mean? Despite their heavy losses in personnel and equipment, the Russians are deploying reserves and seeking opportunities to maintain the intensity and continuously launch assaults," Fedorenko explained.
According to him, Russian troop are even sending mechanics, cooks, and other service personnel into combat who are supposed to be involved in support roles rather than fighting.
“Russian forces do not have any particularly significant tactical successes on the battlefield. Most of the positions held by the Ukrainian Defense Forces remain under our control. Despite Russian troops’ active attacks on forward positions, including the use of their aviation with highly intensive guided bombs, they are still not achieving the desired results," explained the commander of the Achilles strike UAV battalion.
- Since the beginning of July 28, 73 combat clashes have taken place at the front, with Russian forces most actively trying to storm the Pokrovsk direction.
