142 clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian frontline: most intense combat directions

Over the last day, 142 combat clashes took place on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Ukrainian defenders rebuffed 30 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information.

Yesterday, Russian forces launched three missile attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements using three missiles, as well as 67 air strikes, including 135 guided bombs. In addition, they conducted more than 4,000 attacks, including 105 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,585 kamikaze drones.

The General Staff reported that Ukrainian missile and artillery forces carried out 15 strikes on Russian troops and artillery over the last day, damaging two fuel and lubricant depots, an artillery system, an air defense system, and an electronic warfare station.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops conducted four offensive and assault actions near Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of combat clashes reached eleven in the past day, with Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelling Russian attacks near Synkivka, Kurylivka, Pishchane, Vyshneve, Petropavlivka, and Pershotravneve.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces thwarted 13 Russian attacks. Russian troops focused their primary efforts in the areas of Makiivka, Novosadove, Torske, Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, and Dronivka.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off one attack near Spirne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped six Russian troops' attempts to advance near Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, Bila Hora and Stupochky. The situation is under control. Russian troops acted with the support of aviation, using guided bombs near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, Russia's aviation bombed Katerynivka, Druzhba and Kleban-Byk. In addition, Russian troops attempted to advance nine times nearToretsk, Dachne and Nelipivka.

Ukrainian troops rebuffed 30 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces tried to advance near Sukha Balka, Hirnyk, Promin, Novotoretske and Krutyi Yar. They concentrated their main efforts near Mykolaivka and Selydove, where nine and seven combat clashes took place respectively. In addition, Russian troops bombed Myrnohrad, Bilytske and Selydove, dropping seven guided aerial bombs.

Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back Russian troops in the Kurakhove direction. Russian forces made 23 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Novooleksandrivka, Tsukuryne, Heorhiivka, Kostiantynivka, Trudove, Vozdvyzhenka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka.

In the Vremivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped three Russian attacks near Bohoyavlenka and one near Maksymivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian units twice tried to advance near Kamianske and Novodanylivka.

No signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected along the Belarusian border.

On the border with Chernihiv region, Russian forces maintain a military presence, conducting reconnaissance activities and artillery shelling.

Operation in Kursk region

Ukrainian General Staff added that Ukrainian defense forces keep conducting operations in the Kursk direction. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian military launched one missile and fourteen air strikes on its own territory, using 30 guided bombs. In addition, the Russian army launched almost 300 attacks.

  • Over the past day, the occupying Russian army lost 1,230 soldiers. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 15 Russian tanks and 59 artillery systems.
