Russian army storms Ukrainian positions in 8 sectors - Ukraine's General Staff

This is stated in the report of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff as of 10:00 a.m. on June 19.

In total, according to the updated information, Russia launched one missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements over the past day, using one missile, 39 air strikes (including 54 combat aircraft), and carried out more than 4,000 attacks, including 102 using multiple launch rocket systems.

At the same time, over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit six areas of Russian personnel and military equipment concentration, four command and control points, a command and observation post, six air defense systems and an artillery system.

Since the beginning of the day, 42 firefights have taken place: frontline situation

Russia launched six air strikes with twelve UAVs, used 41 kamikaze drones and fired over 600 times at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia's assault near the village of Lyptsi failed, and the battle near Vovchansk continues. According to updated information, Russian troops' losses in this sector over the past day amounted to more than 130 people killed and wounded, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, an artillery system and four vehicles destroyed.

Four firefights continue in the Kupyansk sector near Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka and Kruhliakivka. The situation is under control.

In the Lyman direction, the invading troops attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces five times near Hrekivka, Nevske and Terny. The situation is tense. The fighting continues.

Nine combat clashes have already taken place in the Kramatorsk direction since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian troops repelled two Russian attacks near Nove and Klishchiivka. Seven combat clashes continue in the areas of Kalynivka, Nove and Ivanivske.

Today, in the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army made 13 attempts to break through Ukraine's defenses near Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Sokil and Novoselivka Persha. Eight attacks were rebuffed by the Defense Forces, five more are ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are taking measures to prevent the Russian aggressor from advancing deeper into Ukraine's territory.

In the Kurakhove direction, a Russian attack near Paraskoviivka failed. The situation remains tense in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, where three firefights are currently underway.

In the Vremivka direction, the aggressor's assault near Rivnopole was unsuccessful. Another attack continues near Urozhaine. No positions were lost.

The Russian forces also unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian units in the area of Mala Tokmachka in the Orikhiv direction.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the invaders' attempt to push Ukrainian units from the left bank of the Dnipro River failed.

In other areas, Russia did not conduct active hostilities. The situation remains unchanged.

• In the evening of June 18, Russian troops launched Shahed attack UAVs to fire at Ukraine. The attack resulted in a hit in the Lviv region, with casualties.
