Russian government is ready to wage prolonged war - Military Hudymenko

He made this statement during an interview on Espreso.
"I am absolutely certain that the Russian leadership has no qualms about prolonging the conflict indefinitely. They are not concerned with trivial details like worn-out military gear; they'll keep soldiering on regardless," he remarked.
Hudymenko further commented that the primary focus of Russian authorities is to project an image of national prowess, fabricate spectacular victories, earn medals, and secure promotions.
"We've also witnessed instances where the Russian side struggles to grasp the reality of the situation due to discrepancies between their official reports and the actual facts on the ground, leading to a distorted perception of events," Hudymenko added.
- On September 14, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar announced the liberation of the village of Andriivka near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region by Ukrainian forces. However, the 3rd separate assault brigade disputed this claim.
- On the same day, Ukrainian Defense Forces made significant advances near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, by the morning of September 15, it was confirmed that Andriivka was under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
