This information was shared by Serhiy Zgurets during a morning broadcast on Espreso.

"This visit holds significant strategic importance, and military analysts are eager to see the outcomes of negotiations between the United States and China. The future dynamics of China's support for the Russian Federation hinges on these talks, although it's acknowledged that China pursues its own mission and worldview," he remarked.

He believes that the United States is also keen on clarifying China's stance on strategic matters.

"Prior to Xi Jinping's visit, there were mentions of the US aiming to reestablish military contacts between the two nations. This signals the US' commitment to forging a strategic understanding with China. The repercussions of this visit will be crucial, influencing the actions of the Russian Federation in the European theater of military operations and indirectly impacting the stance on Ukraine," emphasized Zgurets.

The director of Defense Express added, "Regardless, the visit is highly significant, and we anticipate details post the negotiation results. This is a pivotal factor that could genuinely shape not just the situation in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict zone but also the global agenda."

It's worth noting that Chinese leader Xi Jinping visited the USA to meet with President Joe Biden on Wednesday, November 15, aiming to enhance relations between the nations, discuss the Middle East conflict, and address the war in Ukraine, following a period of tension.

Background

On October 27, President Joe Biden met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, stressing the importance of collaboration to address global challenges.

Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that the destiny of humanity hinges on the ability of China and the United States to find common ground. Xi expressed optimism that the National Committee on US-China Relations would persist in supporting China-US relations and contributing constructively to fostering the healthy and stable development of ties between the two nations.

On October 28, Reuters disclosed that the US and China had agreed to jointly arrange a meeting between leaders Joe Biden and Xi Jinping.

Diplomat Volodymyr Ohryzko believes that Joe Biden and Xi Jinping could reach an agreement on a new model of peaceful coexistence, involving coordinated pressure on Russia.
