Mayors of European capitals visit Ukraine

The Polish TV channel Polsat News has reported about the visit.

Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski is among the politicians who came to Kyiv. He is planning a meeting with mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Mayors of Prague, Budapest and Bratislava have also arrived in the Ukrainian capital.

Details of their visit have not yet been announced.

This is the first trip of Rafał Trzaskowski to Kyiv after the start of the full-scale war. The Mayor of Warsaw visited Ukraine’s capital before the start of Russian full-scale war on February 15, 2022.

"We are also here to show that we are ready to help. If something happens, we will coordinate our actions with other local authorities, so we will be able to help local governments in eastern Poland (if necessary)," mayor of Warsaw said back in February.
