Mandatory evacuation of children from three communities announced in Kharkiv region
The Defense Council of Kharkiv region has decided to forcibly evacuate families with children from Kupyansk district due to constant shelling. A total of 10 settlements with 275 children will be evacuated
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram.
"The Defense Council of the Kharkiv region decided to announce the forced evacuation of families with children from Kupyansk, Kindrashivka and Kurylivka communities of Kupyansk district, which are under constant enemy shelling," Syniehubov said.
Families with children are to be evacuated from 10 settlements, where 275 children are currently staying.
According to the decision of the Defense Council, children will be banned from entering these communities either.
He added that children must be evacuated with at least one parent or other caretaker. All evacuees will be provided with housing and support from international humanitarian organizations.
