Mandatory conscription for Ukrainian women: Latest selection of Russian fakes
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes from Russia for November 9
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on November 9, the Russians launched three major deceptions.
Manipulation: Commenting on the possibility of Ukraine's accession to the EU, Putin's press secretary D. Peskov said: "We are talking about carrots tied to the front of the cart, these are hardly real promises."
Disinformation: The Telegram channel Ukraine.Ru wrote: "Russian special unit Ridnya has hacked a Ukrainian resource again. This time it was the ICTV channel's website."
Manipulation: The pro-Russian Telegram channel Resident wrote: "The Ukrainian authorities have crossed all boundaries in their attempts to drag as many people as possible to the front. For 2024, a draft law is being prepared to ban women leaving the country and make them compulsorily conscripted."
The Russian resources launched a diplomatic fake with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, who allegedly called for a coup d'état.
