Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, states.
"This week we saw that they were able to take a new city, Lyman, and it shows that the Ukrainians make progress, able to push back the Russian forces with courage, bravery, skill, but of course with modern weapons provided by the United States and other allies," Stoltenberg said.
According to him, the best way to resist Russia's illegal annexation is to continue supporting Ukraine.
"And we will continue to provide military equipment, political and economic support. This is the best way to help Ukraine liberate its territories," Stoltenberg added.
