Lukashenko states condition for Belarus' entry into war against Ukraine
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, said that he would go to war against Ukraine only in case of aggression against his country
This is reported by Belta.
"I will fight together with the Russians from the territory of Belarus in only one case: if at least one soldier from there comes to the territory of Belarus to kill my people. If they commit aggression against Belarus, the response will be brutal. And the war will take on a completely different turn," he said and added that this applies not only to Ukraine, but also to other neighbors.
He added that despite the fact that Russia and Belarus have a joint military, Moscow allegedly never asked him to start a war against Ukraine.
"My people are peaceful. We know what war is. We do not want war. And in no case are we going to introduce our troops into the territory of Ukraine. Unless you carry out aggression against the territory of Belarus from there. This is my answer. I gave it a long time ago," Lukashenko said.
