Lukashenko is increasingly aware of the danger of the decision to openly join Russia's war against Ukraine - Main Intelligence Directorate
The self-proclaimed authorities of Belarus understand that with an open accession to Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, protests may break out in the country
This was reported by Main Intelligence Directorate.
It was noted in the intelligence that now the self-proclaimed president of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko is closely observing the "partial mobilization" in Russia. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, he understands that if partial mobilization is announced in Belarus, protests may break out in the country.
"At the same time, the illegal Belarusian regime is increasingly aware of all the dangers of its decision to openly join the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine," the Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized.
In this regard, Lukashenko continues to make loud statements about alleged support for Russian aggression and tries to show this to Putin. With this, he is trying to divert a significant part of the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their possible use at the front in the east and south of Ukraine.
In addition, Lukashenko is currently studying the readiness of Belarusian society for protests. He does it covertly under the guise of intensifying mobilization measures. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, this shows the lack of confidence of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus in the support of broad sections of the population for decisions regarding the country's participation in the military actions of the Russian Federation.
