Lukashenko flies to Putin to discuss "regional issues"

On Thursday, September 14, self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko went on a working visit to Russia, where he plans to hold talks with Vladimir Putin

This is reported by the Telegram channel Pul Pershego, which is considered Belarusian leader’s unofficial press service.

"The central part of the visit will be talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will take place on September 15. The heads of state planned it earlier in accordance with the schedule of meetings between the two leaders," the message says.

It noted that the leaders plan to discuss the international agenda and regional issues, common tasks in the economy - in particular, in industry, agriculture and other sectors. They will also discuss the overall work in the field of import substitution.
