This is reported by Russian and Belarusian mass media.
Lukashenko noted that "in connection with the escalation on the western borders of the Union State", the presidents of Russia and Belarus agreed on the deployment of the regional grouping of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
"If the level of threat reaches the current level, as now, we begin to engage the group of the Union State. The basis (I always said about this) of this group is the army, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. I must inform you that the formation of this group has begun. It is already underway, in my opinion, within two days. My order was given to start forming this group," Lukashenko noted.
