Luhansk region "expects good news" from Ukrainian Armed Forces around New Year

"Now the weather already allows heavy military equipment to move. The temperature has dropped below zero. That is why the combat operations on the front line will speed up. We will all see that certain advances will take place," Haidai said.

The official prognoses active counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the near future.

"Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be more active. Our troops will be able to move much faster than a few weeks ago. It is not necessary to specify the directions where active actions of the Ukrainian army should be expected. However, we should expect some "gifts" from the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the New Year," he added.

Luhansk regional military administration reported that Russian soldiers, dressed in civilian clothes, are seizing wheelchairs and mattresses; hospitals lack the most necessary things.
