Losses of Russian forces in Ukraine amount to more than 83,000 military personnel

Over the past day, Russia lost 420 soldiers, 6 tanks and 2 artillery systems as losses in Kremlin’s war against Ukraine continue to rise

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.  

The total Russian combat losses as of the 269th day of the invasion amounted to:

• personnel - about 83,880 (+420 per day)

• tanks - 2885 (+6)

• armored combat vehicles - 5815 (+7)

• artillery systems - 1867 (+2)

• MLRS – 393

• air defence systems - 209

• aircraft - 278

• helicopters - 261

• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 1536

• cruise missiles - 480

• ships/boats /warships - 16

• automotive equipment and tankers - 4368 (+2) units,

• special equipment - 161 (+0).

Earlier, the General Staff reported that the Russian forces lead offensive actions in three directions, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces fended off their attacks in the areas of 6 settlements.

Also, on November 18, Ukrainian defenders struck 12 places of concentration of Russian troops, and their air defence system was destroyed.

In the morning of November 19, an officer of the Svoboda (Freedom) Battalion told Espreso TV channel that near Bakhmut, the Russian infantry is trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: everything is littered with Russians' corpses.
