This was reported by Russian Railways, law enforcement agencies and authorities.
"At 7:47 pm, a locomotive and about 20 cars of a freight train derailed on the Snezhetskaya-Belye Berega stretch in the Bryansk region due to illegal interference with the operation of rail transport. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties and no open fire," the Russian railroad said.
Currently, traffic on the section is suspended.
"An unidentified explosive device went off near the Snezhetskaya railway station. No one was injured. As a result of the incident, a locomotive and several freight cars derailed. All operational services are working at the scene," added Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
Telegram channels report that three explosions occurred at once as the freight train was passing from Bryansk to Karachev. The train had 70 cars in total.
