Train with oil products derails in Bryansk region due to explosive device - media

A train with 60 cars loaded with oil products and construction materials has derailed as a result of explosives detonation in the Bryansk region

Russian media reported this with reference to the governor of the region, Aleksandr Bogomaz.

On May 1, a train carrying oil products derailed on the Rassukha-Unecha stretch of railroad. There are 60 tanks with fuel and construction materials, 7 of which, as well as the locomotive, overturned.

The incident in the Bryansk region was reportedly caused by a railroad track being blown up, and shortly before that, a railroad was blown up.

As a result, there was a fire. The governor assured that there were no casualties.

Train traffic on this section was suspended.

  • On the night of April 27, the power went out in the village of Klimovo in the Russian Bryansk region, and the authorities accused Ukrainian troops of shelling.

  • The governor of the Bryansk region said that at night, on April 30, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Suzemka, killing 4 people.
