On February 1, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry announced that 1600 Ukrainian defenders would be trained in Lithuania in 2023. “We are currently discussing with representatives of the Lithuanian Military Academy the possibility of offering a six-week course for 50 people. If it is approved, a total of 100 company commanders could be trained in Lithuania,” the ministry added.
