This was told by Andrius Tapinas, Lithuanian TV presenter and author of fundraising for Bayraktar drones, on Channel 24.
It is known that Lithuania raised EUR 6 million for Bayraktar drones for Ukraine, which Turkey later handed over to the Lithuanians for free.
The money saved will now go towards missiles and bombs for Bayraktar drones for EUR 1.5 million, anti-drone guns for EUR 1.5 million, as well as 2 reconnaissance drones for EUR 660,000.
Also, part of the funds will go to medicines and special aid from Turkey for 3 hospitals in Cherkasy for EUR 350,000.
The Lithuanians currently have EUR 350,000 left, which will also go to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
For more than EUR 1 million, the Lithuanians bought 80 special radars for anti-drone guns. They will help destroy Russian drones much more effectively.
