The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense reported the information.
"We continue doing everything we can to ease the hard fight of Ukraine against the brutality of the aggressor. The different field equipment is critical during the cold season. Each package of our assistance is a step towards victory," said Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
Last week, Lithuania supplied several million rounds of ammunition and several thousand rounds of ammunition for short-range portable anti-tank grenade launchers to Ukraine.
In addition to the ongoing supply of military equipment and machinery, Lithuania also actively trains Ukrainian soldiers, provides treatment and rehabilitation to Ukrainians, prepares expert advice, and allocates funds to international initiatives to support Ukraine.
On December 15, Lithuania’s Defense Ministry reported that Lithuania had repaired and was ready to hand over Leopard tanks that had been damaged on the battlefield. The number of these tanks was not specified.
