Lithuania donates EUR 41 million in military aid to Ukraine for Independence Day
On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine's independence, Lithuania sent another military aid package worth EUR 41 million
This is reported by the Lithuanian Defense Ministry.
Ukraine will receive a package of military aid from Lithuania, including Carl Gustaf ammunition, rifles, maritime surveillance radars, 5.56 mm ammunition, generators, drone countermeasures, and more. Ukraine will also receive NASAMS missile systems.
According to the ministry, the country has already provided Ukraine with Mi-8 helicopters, L-70 anti-aircraft guns, M113 armored personnel carriers, millions of rounds of ammunition, and grenade launcher ammunition this year.
Lithuania is also helping Ukraine with expert advice, financial support, training for soldiers, and participation in Operation Interflex.
At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers wounded in combat are being treated in Lithuania. Rehabilitation facilities have already admitted about 200 wounded Ukrainian defenders, and more are planned.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda wrote that next month the country will hand over NASAMS launchers, each carrying six AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles, to Ukraine. They are intended to strengthen air defense.
