Former US Army Europe Commander Ben Hodges said that the life of the Russian navy and aviation in Crimea will become "very uncomfortable" by small-diameter ground-launched missiles

He wrote about it on Twitter.

"GLSDB (ground launched small diameter bombs) will reduce sanctuary for Russians. Life is about to start getting very uncomfortable for Russian navy, airforce and ammunition handlers on Crimea, along the 'land bridge'...and hopefully soon for repair crews on Kerch Bridge," Hodges wrote.

The US finalizes a large package of military aid to Ukraine, which could reach $2.6 billion.
