Lavrov claims that the "grain agreement" does not prohibit shelling of Ukraine
The Russian Minister of Foreign Affair Serhiy Lavrov has said that the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain does not provide for the cessation of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"There is nothing in the commitments that Russia has assumed, in particular within the framework of the agreements signed on July 22 in Istanbul, that would prohibit us from continuing the "special military operation" by destroying military infrastructure and other military targets," Lavrov said during his visit to Congo.
The Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also added that representatives of the UN Secretariat "confirmed exactly this reading of the signed documents yesterday."
