Latvia’s government approves additional military aid for Ukraine
The Latvian government has backed the Ministry’s of Defense proposal to provide additional military support to Ukraine.

Delfi shared the news with reference to the statement of the Latvian Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks.
At the same time, the ministry did not comment on what kind of support exactly will be provided to Ukrainians.
A closed extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was convened to consider this issue in the morning of July 28.
It is noted that, in general, Latvia provided military support to Ukraine in the amount of more than 200 million euros. The aid package included weapons and individual equipment, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, dry rations, ammunition, anti-tank weapons, and Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems.
