Last line connecting Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with Ukraine's energy system is disconnected due to Russian shelling - Energoatom
During the last three days, the occupiers have continued intensive shelling of the territory around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant
This was reported by Energoatom.
It was noted there that as a result of the shelling, the 750 kV power transmission lines (power lines) of the Dniprovska Power Plant, the 330 kV ZaTES-Kakhovska and the 330 kV ZaTES-Melitopol power lines were damaged and disconnected. The 750/330 kV power plant of the ZNPP was also damaged. Other lines of the ZANP/ZaTES complex were damaged even earlier.
"Today, September 5, 2022, as a result of a fire caused by shelling, the 330 kV power line of ZaTES – Ferrosplavna, i.e. the last line that connected the ZANP/ZatesP node to the energy system of Ukraine, was disconnected! As a result, it was unloaded and disconnected from the network power unit No. 6, which currently supplies the ZNPP's own needs," the message reads.
