Largest missile attack on Western Ukraine since beginning of Russian invasion

West Air Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shared the information regarding the strikes, Espreso reports.

"On November 15, Russia launched strategic aviation, particularly Tu-95 missile carriers, from several directions. Missiles of X-101 and X-555 type were launched at the territory of Ukraine. Most of them targeted energy infrastructure objects," Air Command West said.

Anti-aircraft gunners of the Air Command destroyed 15 cruise missiles in the Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Volyn, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions starting at 4:00 p.m. However, unfortunately, some of the missiles hit their targets.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups joined their forces to shoot down the missiles.
