According to the spokesman of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, the searches in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra are "another link in the chain of military actions of Ukraine against the Russian Orthodox Church.”
"The Ukrainian side has been at war with the Russian Orthodox Church for a long time. I would say that this can be considered as another link in the chain of these military actions against Russian Orthodoxy," said Peskov.
