Kremlin persuades Iran to provide Russia with greater military support - Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Putin's regime has convinced Iran to provide greater military support to Russia
He said this at the Munich Security Conference on Espreso TV.
“Moscow is considering ways to further expand its aggressive intentions. In particular, this concerns Moldova. While we are discussing modern aircraft for Ukraine, the Kremlin has already convinced Iran to provide Russia with more military support. Now we no longer see Iranian kamikaze drones in the Ukrainian sky. However, Iran is preparing to transfer other weapons to Russia,” Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized the importance of continuing sanctions pressure on Russia.
“The world has seen how the Iranian regime has enriched itself. We do not want the Middle Eastern countries to feel the consequences of Iranian dominance in the region. That is why it is now very important to introduce another powerful package of sanctions against Russia. After all, the aggressor continues to attack Ukraine despite all the restrictions,” he added.
